Ask, Build, Embrace, & Champion

hen our sons were in high school, they attended a week-long camp focused on developing a Christian worldview. They both left the experience ready to walk into their college years confidently, and they had so much fun and made friendships while they were there! That’s why I’m excited to tell you about Summit Ministries’ Student Conferences. Even better—Micaiah, a former conference attendee, will share his experience with you!

Summit Ministries is a Christian organization that equips teenagers to “champion a biblical worldview.” It provides programs such as two-week conferences, courses, curricula, and online resources to help students understand, defend, and live out their faith. The ministry equips students with God’s truth to engage with complex cultural issues from a Christian perspective.

Parents, you don’t have to do this alone. There are a lot of voices vying for your teens’ attention. And as Summit Ministries states:

“The world pressures young adults to doubt Christianity and walk away.”

What if you had a group of people that echoed your voice instead? What if your teens could:

“Ask Questions. Build Confidence. Embrace God’s Truth and Champion a Biblical Worldview”?

Now is a great time to enroll in one of their 2026 Student Conferences!
“The world pressures young adults to doubt Christianity and walk away. For over 60 years, we have equipped students ages 16-22 to defend, own, and live out a Biblical Worldview. Summit’s Student Conferences create a space for teens. They will examine the true story of reality and its counterfeits, equipping them to become confident in their convictions and better ambassadors for Christ.”
I had the opportunity to ask Micaiah, a former student, about the conference:
What is one takeaway from your experience that was meaningful to you?
“Out of the experiences I had, I think the most meaningful had to be the people I met! The friendships that were created extended far long after I left Summit and even inside Summit we were able to be there for each in more ways than one!”
If a friend asked if they should attend, how would you respond?
“I would 100% recommend Summit! Although it seems like a lot of work and lectures, I ended up appreciating that because the content most of the time was so good and full of truth!”
What was the best part of going?
“I wouldn’t say there is just one best part about going. But the people are so incredibly friendly and welcoming, you make friends almost instantly! They make it so fun and full of life that you just don’t want to leave. Every lecture is worth listening to and every game worth playing!”
What did you find most valuable during the week?
“I have to say that at the end of the week the most valuable things were the information and notes that I got from the lectures. The content helped me grow my faith and be more like Jesus and I feel like, in a way, that is the whole point!”
